I wish I had the money to make a movie all the time, since I'm a movie buff, I look at movies and always see how I could have made a better movie.

I see all the casting, directing, producing, screenplay and acting mistakes. I know , I know, you're probably saying, everybody's a critic.

If I had it to do over again, I would have gone to film school in my native New York and would have been huge, lol

I love all of Quenten's films, I remember one of his reviewers was interviewing him and asked him why Kill Bill, both volumes, was so bloody.

He said that he was using blood just for the sake of using it, he was making a statement.

I will see Grindhouse at some point, I love the line Kurt Russell said when he told the woman in the passenger seat of his car that she'd better get scared, immediately.

Don't get me wrong, this is not a film critic thread, just my personal take on certain films, directors, producers, screenwriters, casting agents, actors and anything else film.

No, I'm not a film school student, wish I were.

From An Incurable Movie Buff

Hello people,

This is just a blog about me and my life as a movie buff, I've loved movies ever since I learned all about them from my mother who passed some time ago.

She left me a great legacy of movie knowledge, being a movie buff is good and bad, its good in terms of knowing who is great at their craft and its bad because us movie buffs tend to be the harshest critics known to man.

I was recently frustrated to the ninth degree because I joined Netflix and every single movie I got in the mail, skipped like a flat rock across a lake. I was so mad I didn't know what to do or say.

Recently while surfing, I came across a site that caught my eye, its called Entertainment 4 Less, I recently joined, we're still in pre-launch and will go live on June 1st.

Initially I joined for the club discounts, but soon found out that I could make a few dollars in the process which I saw as a plus. This is not a shameless plug, this is for other movie buffs. check it out.
